Our mission is to provide support, friendship, information, education, and advocacy for all people with Parkinson Disease and their families, caregiver, and friends.
Our region is the North Florida, South Georgia, Southeastern Alabama area, centered on the city of Tallahassee, Florida.
North Florida Awareness Group is a chapter of the National Parkinson Foundation.

Mission Statement
Pedaling for Parkinson’s will advance knowledge about Parkinson’s disease, fundraise for Parkinson’s research, and encourage healthy behaviors.
Purpose
Educate and increase awareness regarding Parkinson’s disease
Fundraiser for Parkinson’s research, with 100% of net proceeds going towards research
Increase community awareness of healthy behaviors regarding diet and exercise
Bring community organizations together, such as Florida State University College of Medicine, Sweat Therapy Fitness, and the Terner Family Foundation
Description of Event
Pedaling for Parkinson’s is an indoor cycle-a-thon. Throughout the event there will be presentations by experts in Parkinson’s, educational activities with Florida State University College of Medicine Students, food, and fun for all.
